Our story

Started by a plumber tired of confusing invoices

QuanAn was founded in Kaohsiung by Chen Wei-Ming, a plumber with more than twelve years of residential work across Zuoying, Gushan, and the surrounding districts. The name QuanAn (全安) reflects the goal he set for the company: that every household should finish each call-out feeling the situation is fully and safely resolved.

The idea for the service came from a pattern Wei-Ming kept seeing — homeowners who had been given a vague estimate, then handed a higher bill at the end. Not because the plumber was dishonest, but because the conversation about scope had never really happened. QuanAn was built around fixing that.

Every visit starts with a proper look at the problem, a plain description of what was found, and a clear price before the tools come out. The technical parts stay in our notes. What you hear from us is everyday language.

Our values

What matters to us when we work in your home

Plain communication

We tell you what we found, what we plan to do, and what it will cost. Then we ask if you want to proceed.

Root-cause focus

We look past the visible problem. If there is an underlying cause, we flag it so you can decide what to address.

Tidy work site

We work in your home and treat it accordingly. We carry protective covers and leave each area as we found it.

End-of-job check

Before we leave, we verify that the repair holds. No handshake and hope — we run the water, check the pressure, and confirm it is settled.

How we work

Standards we hold ourselves to on every job

Licensed plumbing work

All work is carried out in accordance with Taiwan's water supply and drainage regulations. We hold current trade licences for residential plumbing in Kaohsiung City.

Site safety first

Before opening any pipework, we identify shut-off valves and confirm isolation. Protective covers are laid on floors and surfaces. Water supply is restored and tested before we leave.

Leak-free verification

Every repair is checked for leaks before we call the job done. Joints are inspected visually and under pressure. We do not leave until the test is passed.

Written job summary

At the end of each visit, we provide a short plain-text summary of what was found, what was done, and any notes about the system's condition for your records.

Quality materials only

We use components from suppliers we trust — seals, fittings, and valves that match the pipe standards used across Kaohsiung's residential buildings.

Respectful home entry

We confirm identity on arrival, work only in the areas discussed, and ask before moving or accessing anything not directly related to the job.

Residential plumbing in Kaohsiung: what we know and why it matters

Most homes in Kaohsiung were built during periods of rapid construction, and a significant share of the residential plumbing in the city dates from the 1970s through to the early 2000s. That means cast iron drain pipes sitting alongside newer PVC, mixed joint types, and water pressure that varies considerably between floors — particularly in older mid-rise buildings in districts like Zuoying and Sanmin.

QuanAn plumbers work in this environment daily. When we arrive at a property, we bring practical knowledge of how Kaohsiung's residential buildings are typically piped. That knowledge shapes how we diagnose problems. A slowly dripping tap in a newer build and the same symptom in a thirty-year-old flat often have different causes, and the approach to fixing them differs accordingly.

Our call-out service covers the three most common domestic plumbing situations: leaks at taps and joints, blocked drainage, and fixture changes. These account for the majority of home plumbing requests across the city. We have structured our pricing and visit format around these scenarios so that each can be handled cleanly within a single call-out, without the need for multiple follow-up visits in most cases.

Being based in Zuoying means we can usually respond quickly within central and northern Kaohsiung. We schedule Monday through Saturday and keep a morning slot available for situations that cannot wait. Clients are given a one-hour arrival window when the booking is confirmed, and we contact you if that changes.
